Natural diamond abrasives are made primarily by crushing natural diamond boart (boart is diamonds not suitable for jewelry). They are then graded to different sizes and sorted according to their shape and strength. Their shape is determined by a vibrating table and their strength is determined by a friatest. Dev-16 & Dev-40 are produced by crushing natural diamond boart and graded to sizes above 60 US mesh, whereas Dev-80 is similar in shape & strength but is available in sizes finer than 60 US mesh. Dev-Crust is high quality processed natural diamond, and is available in sizes above 80 US mesh.
